Charity News

Proud to be a Charity Trustee.

I am proud to be a Trustee for this local Coventry charity.  It is my way of giving back to my community.

We, like many other charities, are looking for additional trustees to help us (voluntary role) particularly if you have experience in finance, insurance or IT, and have a genuine interest in supporting disabled children.  Please get in touch to arrange a no-obligation chat.

You can help the charity in a number of ways including using their soft play centre and Party facilities at Purple Planet.

I am fundraising during the 2026/27 tax year for Tiny Tim's Children's Centre - we are now on fundraising part two (due to limited time for fundraising on facebook) you can keep up to date with my progress and donate here:

September 2026 BLOG
Back to School

You can read past BLOGS here, in the archives...

Not everyone is looking forward to going back to school...

Pupils
(of any age)

There can be many reasons why children struggle with attending school...

Getting back into the school routine can be hard for most, the changes in staff, rooms, school, academic expectation can be overwhelming. There may be sensory difficulties around a new uniform or shoes.

Some children may have had significant events occur over the holiday - illness, bereavement, relationship breakdowns, high-energy holiday events meaning they didn't get much down-time.

Some children may have already been struggling, emotionally, to attend school last term, it is unlikely to just "go away".

If your child needs some support to process what is causing their worries, Drawing & Talking may be the perfect answer - a gentle therapeutic technique that is client-led with no agenda.

Appointments are available in School or in The Connection Cabin in Coventry.

Flexible times (incl after school & Saturdays if required).

Weekly / Monthly payment options (for parents).

Availability starting w/c 21 September.

Email to arrange a FREE telephone consultation about your child's needs.

School
Staff

Reminder: You cannot pour from an empty cup

If you are a teacher or TA and are dreading the new school year because it is a difficult role and the demands are high from leadership, from government, from parents, from the pupils...

Maybe you have a new role or new responsibilities...

Maybe you have had a tricky summer, personally (yes you do have a life outside of school, with ups and downs, just like the rest of us)...

ALL SCHOOL STAFF (including admin, catering, cleaning etc) can claim a 10% discount off a 12 week Drawing & Talking programme, designed to help you process emotional trauma or anxiety, enabling you to refill your heatproof lidded mug, and be the best you can be for the children you support.

Email for a free no-obligation chat about how I can help you.
