A BUSY SUMMER
Emotions Discovery Taster Sessions
I delivered 13 stand-alone Emotions Discovery Sessions at Summer Holiday Camps, funded via the HAF programme, enabling around 180 children to access some Emotional Wellbeing support over the Summer.
No-one yet knows what funding will be available going forward, but it you provide Holiday Clubs over the Easter or Summer breaks and would like to discuss WHAT can be offered - lets do that!
Once information and applications open for these schemes, there is usually quite a tight schedule, so having the information and figures in advance can really make the process easier.

Block Therapy Programme (LEGO)
I had the pleasure of delivering my FIRST Summer Block Therapy Programme to a family group - we had fun, learnt new skills, and the Sun even came out each week so the parent could sit and read in my garden!
This programme is available during the school day on Mondays & Tuesdays this term for Home Educating families or groups, or after school on Wednesdays as an after school activity.
Proud to be a Charity Trustee.
I have recently become a Trustee for this local Coventry charity. It is my way of giving back to my community.
You can help the charity in a number of ways including using their soft play centre and Party facilities.
Keeping Clients SAFE
Did you know that I am responsible for safeguarding ALL of my clients?
ALL Adults working with me are automatically considered vulnerable due to the nature of their work with me.
I hold an ENHANCED DBS Certificate on the Update Service which covers me working with Children and Vulnerable Adults.

Emotions Discovery
It has been a real pleasure to be out and about offering the Drawing & Talking group activity - Emotions Discovery.
I have been delivering a 6 week programme to Coventry Young Carers and their families - the response has been amazing!
I was also invited to Hope Community Project in Coventry to deliver a Taster Session over the Easter holidays to their families.
What I really love about this work is seeing the groups bond together, and grow in their emotional understanding of themselves and others. It also normalises discussions about how we are feeling, improving mental health.
Bookings now being taken
Services available in Coventry.
Appointments are currently available for private clients in The Connection Cabin for 1-2-1 Drawing & Talking (pencil & paper) and 1-2-1 Drawing & Talking (sand play) - no waiting list.
Enquiries now being taken for group sessions EMOTIONS DISCOVERY (as experienced in The Big Draw and HAF events), and for Charities & Community Groups for after October Half Term (6 week programmes).
Block-Based Therapy now available after school and on Saturdays.
I am also pleased to offer services for families that are Home Educating during regular school hours where available. LIMITED AVAILABILTY.

NEW Drawing & Talking group work is booked in half-termly blocks - Diary is now open for Autumn Term (2nd half) 2024.
Please note that due to only 13 available weeks in any one term, it is important to book the term before, ideally with children allocated and permission forms signed prior to the end of the previous term, ready for a prompt start.
School meetings & presentations available at request.
Availability 2024/25 academic year for INSET training.
NEW Educational Support Services - bespoke supply / PPA / interventions supporting KS1 English curriculum (Phonics, Handwriting+ and Read Write Inc) bookings available from September 2024 - enquire now.
