The Connection Cabin

The Treatment Room

This is a dual purpose Summerhouse in my garden.  The lounge area is for friends and family connections, and any pre-session visits.  There is also now a Hospitality Tray, offering Tea, Coffee, Biscuits & Bottled Water.

The desk area is where the 1-2-1 sessions take place.

Block-Based Therapy is now available here too - The Connection Cabin can easily accommodate 3 participants, either on the comfy lounge chairs or seated on the floor around the coffee table (blankets & cushions available).

Drawing & Talking is all about connections;

  • Connection between client & practitioner
  • Connection between pencil & paper
  • Connection between the fantasy of the drawing and the emotions being processed.

The interior is decorated in neutral / nature inspired colours - cream, blues, greens, browns to create a relaxing atmosphere, there is a balance in the decor to create low sensory arousal, but still feel welcoming rather than clinical.

The clock is SILENT (no ticking).

Between clients the space is ventilated and the furniture is sanitised.

Tissues & Hand Sanitiser are always available.

ELECTRICS have now been installed, so a quiet heater is now in situ - blankets are still available for those who prefer them.

Allergy aware

Please note, I have a dog!

He does think The Connection Cabin is an extension of his home - it is!

During client visits he stays in the house, entry to The Cabin is via the side gate, so you will not be licked, jumped on, or barked at.

However, it is likely there will be some dog hair present in the cabin despite regular cleaning.

A Hospitality Tray is now available for meetings in The Connection Cabin.

Please do take extra care if you have allergies.
